Since all Jeep bolt patterns are alike, I was able to fit brand new Goodyear Wrangler 245/75R 17. Take offs from a new 2020 Wrangler on my 08 Commander Sport. No rubbing. All 5 for $200. Deals on FB Marketplace. Much better look than stock Commander wheels. What's the largest tire size I can go with on a stock suspension 2010 jeep commander limited 5.7 hemi?
Thank you and yes I check regularly and torque as well with every oil change. The bevel on the lugs matches perfectly to the rim and wheel fits very snug. I expected such a heavy wheel/tire to be difficult to manage when I rotate. But once holes line up I cradle bottom of tire with legs (I'm sitting) and slide over studs the bottom does not want to kick out but stays put long enough to fasten first lug - at the bottom. I do appreciate the thought. I was just excited to share with others that these tires/wheels will fit Commander.John, based on the table it looks like your new rims have 14mm holes for the lugs, 1.3 mm (about 1/16") larger than the stock 1/2". Rims are always a little loose around the lugs but yours are likely looser than usual. While my gut says this probably isn't a problem, if it were me I'd do couple things. Firstly, I'd look closely at the bevel on the lug nuts that they're mating the rim's angle just right. Secondly, I'd be extra vigilant about checking the nuts aren't loosening up over time. Just a thought.
