New to forum - and already finding a lot. It's frustrating there isn't a Haynes or Bentley for my 2006 Commander (Limited, hemi, 4WD) - but this site is great.

I wanted to check a couple torque settings before I replace my pads and rotors next weekend:

32 ft. lb. - caliper to caliper adaptor
125 ft. lb. - caliper adaptor to knuckle

Are these correct? Is there a list of torque settings posted anywhere?

Also, there is an o-ring shown in prior posts that is removed before the rotor is pulled. Can it be reused?

I have manuals and great forums for my 1980 MG and 1991 Volvo 240 - MGexperience.net and Brickboard.com. It is great to find this Jeep resource as my Commander ages sorta gracefully (At least all the Service 4WD stuff appears to be over!!! The warranty surely is).

Done! Raybestos Advanced Technology rotors and pads all around - $330 delivered through rockauto.com.

No real issues - just took a minute to figure out how to release the pads on the rear, and needed a pulller to get the front right and right rear rotors off. I reused the o-rings although they looked pretty unnecessary and used the torque settings found in this forum.

Took it out to bed in the pads and the shake and shimmy caused by the cheap Chrysler rotors is gone. Shouldn't need to do this at 45,000 miles, but all is well. On to other projects!
