Good morning, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have just joined the caravanning community and purchased a 2016 Lunar Clubman CK 2 berth. My towing vehicle is a 2006 diesel auto 3.0 jeep commander LImited CRD and so should be able to tow the equivalent of 3 vans + like my Clubman. Anyway, had to have my tow bar electrics upgraded and also an ALKO tow bar fitted. I collected my van and before I got too far heard a worrying grinding noise when I went over a bump in the road. Almost as though something was grounding. Needless to say went straight back to the dealer. Winchester Caravans who by the way have been very helpful. They hooked it up to one of their vehicles and took it out and heard nothing. So it points to a problem with my jeep. I asked my garage to have a look and they checked out my suspension and said could find nothing wrong. They said they aren’t tow bar specialists. So called the same company who upgraded my electrics to get one of their engineers to check it out but they refused point blank because they’re not insured for it. What can I do. I don’t like to have to put up with this noise long term as it is as I said before worrying. Thank you.

Andy Panda as in Walter Lantz?

Cool camper. 2700lbs shouldn't be a problem.

Do you have a weight dist hitch?

Wonder if you are tongue heavy and maybe ABS is kicking in going over bumps?
