I just installed a JL Sahara wheel package and obviously my ‘07 XK module is not compatible with the new sensors. Has anyone ever upgraded to the newer JL TPMS module? Is this possible?

Normally one just installs the correct sensors that match the vehicle into the new wheels. Others just disable the TPMS entirely. Trying to change the vehicle to match the wheels is full of complications.

Alternatively, if you are willing to install yourself any of the various and sundry Android head units, you can get yourself some tire TPMS sensors that will work with the head unit for about $35.
