OK....here is a good question,

I bought rubicon wheels and tires with TPMS sensors in them. The dealsership cannot reprogram to make them work. I still have my old 18" wheels and tires.

Do you have to remove the tires from the wheels to get to the tpms sensors? or are they on the end of the valve stems and come right out thru the hole.

I guess the main question is....do i have to have 2 sets of tires broken down and remounted to get the TPMS sensor from my 18" wheels to the Rubicon wheels?

And I will post pics of the lifted commander...08 overland blue with rubicon wheels and tires on bds 2 inch with 1.5 spacer....Looks MUCH better

Just purchase another set of TPMS if you are planning to keep your 18" wheels. They charge to mount and dismount those tires.

The TPMS are model year specific, if the rims you purchased are from a year other than your XK they will not work. Try selling one set here and purchase a set for the year of your Commander.
