I don't know if this will help, but this is what I found, this is from the instructions for the removal of the transmition...

14. Disconnect transmission fluid cooler lines (2) at transmission (1).
15. Disconnect the transmission vent hose from the transmission.

There is a vent hose by the coolant resevoir. It is clipped onto the threads of a bolt between the resevoir and the valve cover.
I believe that is the front differential breather hose.

Check on the firewall near the rear of the engine. probably near the t-case vent line. I have also heard from some people that some liberty or GC model had a vent fitting in the top of the trans but no line from it I don't know if this is true or not.

I found where the vent comes off the trans, but still can not tell where it goes. The hose is on the drivers side and goes over the top of trans. I hope it does not stop there.:icon_confused:
