this may be a "dumb" question, but that's what this site is for, right??
My '06 commander, with the 3.7L, has had a low idle ever since I bought, around 500-550rpm. It also has a very random "miss" while driving, where it seems to stutter and I can get it to stop if I either let off on the gas or give it more and it typically happens when first driving the car. This doesn't happen all the time, so its hard getting codes, I have a "cheapy" bluetooth OBD reader that I can keep plugged in while driving, but when I do it doesn't stutter. I was thinking I needed to change spark plugs, but in talking to my brother, he mentioned that it could be a sensor. Could the two issues be connected?? The car has never stalled on me. Which sensor would control the idle speed, MAP??
thanks for any feedback
