Hi y'all,

I have an '07 limited with most the bells and whistles, U-connect, Nav, Sat radio, 6 disc Head Unit. The one thing that is missing from these radios, is a AUX port. I drive for LYFT sometimes and having an AUX port would be really beneficial. I was thinking about upgrading this to and '08 and newer factory radio, but they aren't cheap. If i'm going to spend that kind of money, why should i settle for 10 year old tech. I really want to get JVC's KW-M730BT touch screen radio. This radio has pretty much everything you could want.

The problem is connecting the aftermarket radio with the stock backup camera... Crutchfield sells aftermarket cameras, but they look terrible no matter how well you install it. Has anybody stumbled on a home made or aftermarket fix for this?

I've come to a similar yet different issue, I had gotten an aftermarket radio that came with it's own GPS dongle that rests on the dash... unsightly, especially when I have a factory GPS antennae on the roof, so I called my local car toys and asked if they could take the input wire from the aftermarket antennae, and splice it into the factory antennae wire. They said yes. I hadn't done it yet, but they could. You may be able to accomplish the same thing at a local audio shop to you, I imagine it isn't hard.

thanks, that sounds like a good idea. not sure if there are any Car Toys stores down here, but i'll look into it.

It wouldn't have to be a car toys, any reputable audio shop, local or franchise should be able to do it, save for maybe best buy. I would actually recomment NOT going to car toys if the option was available to you.

Pac-Audio Makes all this stuff. I've done this on 3 older Chryslers now.

I think on the Nav unit, you'll lose XM satellite radio - but's part "PAC AAI-CHY Dual Auxiliary Audio Input For 2005+ Chrysler Vehicles".

Just picked up a used one on Ebay for $40.

I just solved this problem for about $90 and just a few hours of time. I get to keep my excellent head unit with all of the Nav and Blutooth and XM built in but I can pair my phone to the car and play EXCELLENT quality audio. It's called an FM Modulator! I love it! Maybe I'll do a write up about my install! Saved the day when I found this. If you need to save money you can get one that is AUX only and has no blutooth for about $25
