Hi all,

I'm a newbie here and apologize if this specific question has already been asked. Im a proud owner of a 2010 Commander Sport. I went with the Bril Black Crystal Pearl ext, and Dark Slate Gray Interior. Truly is a fantastic ride!

I have been searching for black all season floor mats and it seems that the majority of members here prefer the Weather Tech brand. I see they offer 2 types. First: "Floor Mats - All Weather" and second, "Floor Liner Digital Fit." Does anyone have experience with either make? I'm looking for the best without breaking the bank. As for the 3rd row, I don't plan on using this for seating and will mostly stay down. Any information or pics are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I really think the floor liners are your best bet....your weather, and the crap you track in to your vehicle, is similar to what I see in Northeastern Il.
A bit less money and similar performance (liner type) is a available from Husky, as in Husky Liners.
Anything other than the digital Weathertech or Husky Liner is just a regular floormat and wont catch water like a liner.

Congrats on your new Commander.
Rob

BTW, you only linked the floormat styles, not the floor trays.

+1 on the digital fit liners. I have all three rows plus the cargo mat.

Just my 2 cents...

I prefer the Jeep brand all weather mats. They have been bulletproof and have deep channels for MI weather (slush, salt). I know WT's are great, but the factory fit of the Mopar mats is perfect and they are the most "in place" IMO.

For the cargo area (behind second row w/third seat down), I tried two versions of Mopar cargo mats and both were terrible. I ended up getting the WT version and have been very happy with it.

I have the weathertech digital fit liners in my Commander and I'm happy with them. In my previous Jeep Grand Cherokee I had the Husky liners - I liked those just as much as the Weathertechs. I don't track in much mud, but accumulate a good bit of other debris - the liners keep that out of my carpet, out from under the seat and when it's time to clean I just lift out the liner with all the stuff in it and dump it.

Here's another alternative that I just saw recently - Lloyd Rubbertight mats. They look pretty hefty and are vehicle-specific.

I LOVE these Husky mats. They're like silicone rubber - nothing sticks, even gumbo mud. Water collects because they're like trays, you just dump them out. I doubt you'll beat Summit Racing's prices either. These mats are $99.95 about everywhere else. :)

I ordered gray, so these links are that color, but they come in black, tan, or gray.

I am very happy with my weather tech digi's. They are the next best thing to having rubber floors (which I wish I could have gotten ;-)

I'm still waiting on my WT floor liners. I ordered from Autoanything over a week ago and it says it's still processing. If I like the liners I'll probably order the cargo mat as well.

My wife got me a set of Weather Tech mats for Christmas and the fit is great! Not as much coverage as the liners but they will work better than the flimsy stock mats.

This was my first upgrade to anything on my Commander. There has only been two things I have found wrong with it from the factory, the floor mats and the bad blind spot on the drivers side.

I fixed both of those issues and it took me a year to pick the Jeep apart to find those two things! This XK is as close to being the perfect vehicle as I have ever found, that coming from someone who has owned over 40 cars/trucks(most new when I got them). I usually find issue's with a vehicle after the first day of ownership and start modding or complaining about it.

I love this Jeep!
