I'm "possibly" looking for a set of rims for my Jeep for the winter. I want to buy a cheaper set of 17's. The set I'm looking at now has a offset of +/- 12mm. So what would that do to my setup. Right now I'm running stock chrome clad rims with toyo open countys 245/65/r17. Would they stick out more or what, also this shouldnt affect ride quality.

According to my calculations, this wheel will sit inward a 1/4" further than your OEM wheels. Feel free to correct me as I'm no wheel pro. Hope this helps.

This new wheel is 1.5" wider than OEM but has a back spacing of 5.5". Oem is 6" back spacing at only 7.5" wide, therefor you new wheel will push out .5"s but is also .75" wider on the inside. This is how I got my # of .25" inward. OK, now I'm confused, LOL. Maybe someone with more experience can help.
