When I drive I get a whooshing sound louder and louder as I speed up and it goes down when I slow down.
Sounds like it's coming from the driver side wheel. But then it's like under the dash in the middle by the floor.
But more by the driver wheel.
Is it the wheel bearing or are my cv going bad?

It should be easy to tell, put Commander on a lift where the wheels are free and turning the wheels to feel any friction grinding, or look over the CV joints.

Changed the diff seal.
Now I found out what the noise was.
It's the pinion bearing.
Is the repair easy to do.
Or is it better to find a new rear end?
If any can be found.

Not sure where you are at but may be worth checking cost to replace at local 4wd shops, they should be able to give you a pretty quick quote.
