Hey guys I am looking for a thread to see how someone has modified their wheel wells to accommodate larger tires with a slight tire rub. Im sure there is a thread on here somewhere but I cannot seem to find it. I am running Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/17s with a 2in Rocky Road lift kit and have a slight rub that I would love to get rid of. If any one has any info about this please help me out. Thanks in advance!!!

Try looking and posting in the wheel and tire thread, you'll get a better response there. It all depends on where you are rubbing. Usually the guys hammer back the pinch weld on the back side and then heat and mold the liner where the rubbing accurs.

The other rubbing issue is with the swaybar when you turn full lock with wider than stock tires. Just had to do my pinchweld mainly because of the new spacer. Before the spacer my tires rubbed the sway bar and not the fender.

I have done many write ups on how to modify the pinch weld and inner plastic fender well. Just do an advanced search using my screen name and pinch weld for the key word an im pretty sure youll be set.
