I'm getting to the point where I need new tires and I hate the stock 245/65/17 Goodyear Forteras because even in just 2 inches of snow I slide. I was considering 245/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapples at first but decided I would go with the Goodyear Wrangler Authority tire in either 245/70/17 or 245/75/17. Will those sizes rub with no lift or spacers and on stock rims? I would assume at least the 75s would. And if I were to get a 2.25" RR lift would that allow me to run the 75s with no rubbing? Anything will help, thanks.

I recently put on some Goodyear duratracs on my stock setup, 245/70 r17. About an inch taller and really close to the bolt up top. No rubbing, and they do pretty well. 120$ mail in rebate too. When I say close to that bolt, I mean I can barely fit my thumb between it and the tire.

For sure the 245/70/17 will not rum I had the firestone destination A/T in that size before the lift and new tires, had no issues with them.
