Just bought 4 off road lights for the light bar Im building and was wondering if anyone knew if I can wire them so they will come on when I turn on my high beams and go off when I dim them. Im pretty sure it can be done and have an idea how to do it but wanted to tap the wealth of knowledge on here. Thanks.

cico I'm fairly certain it is illegal in every state to use off-road lights on public highways. The best thing for him to do is check his state laws. But then if he travels out of state into a state where it is illegal he will have a problem.

have you mounted your lights? we can point you to an installation that will help you.
most of the XK's are pre wired for fog lights, if that is of any value.

wiring overview

Off Road Lights-roof mount

How to wire Fog Lights

Fuse Panel

Fog Lamps

This should be a good start....

Im also mounting mine to the roof rack like in your pic. I do alot of work on and near the road so Im required to have a flashing yellow light. I purchased 2 SUPER bright flashing LED lights that are small rectangles and will also be mounted to the rails with some custom mounts. I will post pics when I get done. The info you have given me is gonna be a BIIIG help. thank you.
