My Commander goes into "limp mode" almost every time I drive it. If I pull over and use my code reader to reset the error (P2767) it will run good for a while but soon goes back "Limp"!
All I have read about this problem says my problem could be TCM, PCM or ECM!?! Are all of these modules independent or are they combined in one box? Where are they physically located??
One article found said it could be as simple a s a bad or corroded connection on the "module". Fingers crossed! I don't think I want to invest money in this vehicle to replace another transmission.
A few years ago I had the transmission replaced. I had a leak in the transmission cooler. My mechanic at the time was getting ready to retire and he didn't seem to know/care to find where the leak was (it was the Transmission cooler). Turns out Transmissions don't last long with no/low fluid! Since being replaced I have had one problem after another.
