replace driver seat bottom cushion and leather

I have the typical tear in the driver seat that most Commanders (Jeeps) seem to get after around 60k miles. I bought a new cushion pad and a new leather cover. All from Mopar.

I have been trying to find instructions for how to do this, but am not finding anything. Also searched for the Grand Cherokee as I believe they have the same seats.

Is there anyone out there that has some pointers on the steps to do this? Do I have to take out the whole seat?

Take it to an uphostery shop. They can do a much better job and won't cost much. My seat base had the typical cracks and tears in it and my local upholstery shop ordered matching material and repaired the seat base and fixed the sagging foam for 117.00 dollars!! It took them less than 90 minutes from start to finish. I looks as good as new. The outer bolsters of the leather seat bases are not real leather but leather look vinyl.
